The JoJo 10 Inch Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) Filter Cartridge uses premium coconut shell activated carbon to improve the taste, odour and appearance of your water. It is ideal for point-of-use systems and lower-volume whole-house filtration applications where enhancing the quality of drinking water is the primary objective.

Carbon cartridges are typically installed after a sediment cartridge. By removing sediment first, the carbon media can work more effectively, helping to reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odours, and organic compounds while extending the life of the cartridge.

A Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) cartridge is ideal for:

Helpful Tips

• For best performance, install a sediment cartridge before the PAC cartridge to remove dirt and suspended particles that could reduce the carbon cartridge’s lifespan.
• Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) cartridges improve the taste, odour and appearance of water but are not designed to remove sediment or harmful bacteria. Where required, use the appropriate sediment or Disruptor™ cartridge as part of a multi-stage filtration system.
• Cartridge life will vary depending on your water quality, water consumption and the cartridge combination used.
• A noticeable reduction in water flow, or the return of chlorine taste or unpleasant odours, usually indicates that the cartridge needs to be replaced.
• Suitable for municipal, rainwater and borehole water applications, provided the water source is appropriately managed.
• Borehole water should be tested to determine the correct treatment requirements and confirm that it is safe for domestic use.
